Garden Bloggers Bloom and Foliage Combo

I'm late for both the Garden Blogger's Bloom Day and Foliage Follow Up this month, but I took the time to take the photos so I'm posting them, darn it. I'm combining the posts together for efficiency, flowers and foliage are all mixed up - just like my garden!

    Man, your colors are so *intense.* Must be the softer light that keeps things from washing out up there. As always, your combos and your images are inspiring.

    No need to apologize for being late--I'm late for Bloom Day, too. So many beautiful images! I especially like the border planting with the grasses--a lovely combination of colors. Your little helper is a cute little bloomer, too:)

    Thanks everyone.

    Pam - I do try to always photograph on a cloudy day or late in the evening. that helps keep colors rich. Plus, good ol' photoshop helps me show how I saw the plants, rather than how the camera captured them.

    Rose - My helper is my favorite piece of propagation work!

    Danger Garden - Sticks of Blood is Marcetella moquiniana, from Annie's Annuals. It's been really tough and drought tolerant for me.
